What You'll Be Doing:
Understanding the U.S. healthcare environment and its complexities is captivating and stimulating. This team works with commercial and government health insurance Payers to provide patients with affordable access to Lilly medicines, with data and innovative analytical capabilities at the cornerstone.
- Refine and implement the Reporting and Analytics strategy to enable the new Revenue Management ecosystem for the U.S. Affiliate
- Introduce concepts of AI and automation to more efficiently and effectively get to analytical insights
- Create and steward a data governance model and continue to evolve our data and analytics ecosystem with the team who drives business value through it
- Lead development of data-centric solutions to be used by business teams within the Lilly Value and Access organization
- Develop expertise of processes and data used by business functions within the US Affiliate
- Consult with internal customers to oversee and inform the development of data products & analyses that lead to actionable insights
- Ensure the availability and quality of data needed for analysis and business transactions. This includes data integration, acquisition, cleansing, harmonization and transforming raw data into curated datasets for data science, data discovery, and BI/analytics
- Network with internal IT teams to ensure the analytics infrastructure components are professionally managed and monitored (life-cycle and change management)
- Stay abreast of tools and technologies to influence IT strategy so that it provides best usage opportunities for business
- Partner with capabilities teams to understand the appropriate menu of technologies and tools, and leverage for solution delivery
- Ensure solution adherence to appropriate quality, compliance, and security standards
- Understand business requirements and effectively translates business needs and process into technical requirements, and vice versa
- As a pillar in this team, show curiosity and a love of learning to understand the U.S. healthcare landscape and how the business uses technology to support end-to-end business processes.
- Technical experience with AWS Services (AWS S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, etc.) Power BI -PL/SQL
- Anticipate business challenges, prioritize, build and refine strategic initiatives, oversee tech leads and development teams, collaborate with key business partners and provide a course of action to realize value.
- Communicate plainly with intent, influence decisions with data, and accelerate delivery of results by resolving inter-team dependencies, risk identification and mitigation, and removing impediments to progress.
- Possess passion for improving systems, processes, and yourself.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field
- 5+ years working in Information Technology as a Data & Analytics Lead, Product Owner, IT Consultant, or similar lead role.
- Experience delivering data, analytics, AI, automation or reporting solutions
