Celtic Bank is growing and is ready to add a Data and Analytics Manager. As the manager of Data and Analytics, you will oversee the practice, tools, and processes for data, analytics, business intelligence, and reporting at Celtic Bank. You will contribute as a hands-on expert in helping business leaders build the reporting, dashboards, and other tools needed to make decisions and achieve business outcomes.

Similarly, you'll work hand-in-hand with technologists to understand and mature and build data infrastructure and tools necessary for data modernization. You'll lead the creation of, and provide ongoing leadership for, a Bank-wide data strategy, which will inform near- and long-term decision making, and which will guide systems and data modernization programs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AT CELTIC BANK

  • Lead the creation and take ownership of Bank-wide Data Strategy; including data governance, data security and privacy, data quality, data technology and architecture, data product roadmaps, data analytics and reporting, and data culture and change adoption.
  • Lead and provide critical expertise into data infrastructure, data warehousing, and data tools.
  • Provide hands-on data analytics expertise in creating reports and dashboards to solve business needs and to achieve business outcomes. This includes: partnering with business and operations leaders, developing key metrics for tracking and decision making, discovering insights, designing and implementing needed solutions, and similar.
  • Be a key leader in providing inputs and decisions regarding core systems and data modernization journeys. Moreover, this role will be a key team member for these implementations and will lead data-related aspects.
  • Provide people leadership to future team of analysts and related roles.

Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO DO IT

  • 2+ years experience leading people and teams as a manager.
  • 5+ years proven and advanced experience with SQL.
  • 5+ years proven experience with industry standard reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel or similar.
  • 3+ years direct experience within financial services.
  • Experience using CRM platforms - and building reporting and managing data in - such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar/related.
  • Experience using productivity and product planning tools such as Jira, Teams, Monday.com, or similar/related.
  • Successful experience as both a direct people manager and as an organization's subject matter expert.
  • Ability to train, teach, coach, help, collaborate with, and mentor others, especially those in other departments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to: translate between business and technical jargon and requirements; radiate and communicate status, updates, dependencies, and risks; facilitate tradeoffs and key decisions.

Physical and Other Requirements

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.   • Work Model: The employee will work either a fully Onsite, Hybrid or Remote work model. All employees, regardless of location, may be required to travel to the Salt Lake City office for mandatory company meetings, events, or related occasions.
    • Utah-based employees: Hybrid work schedule available after initial training period in our Salt Lake City, Utah office - department and job requirements will determine eligibility.
