Job Description

Waltz Health is looking for a thoughtful, passionate, and creative Data & Product Analyst who can understand our company's strategic vision and apply that understanding to help improve the healthcare experience and outcomes of patients. This role will focus on building our product's pharmaceutical pricing and data portion, as well as support data analysis on strategic projects. Deep curiosity and a desire to learn will be critical to success in this role. As a Waltz Health Data and Product Analyst, you will partner with business stakeholders and clients to understand the voice of the customer and translate that information into product strategy, features, and requirements. This important role will collaborate with our entire team, including our C-Suite.

You will primarily focus on the following responsibilities:
  • Analyzing and managing pharmaceutical prices to bring lower costs to consumers
  • Conducting data analysis and using analysis insights to define and manage new pharmaceutical pricing functionality and applications.
  • Communicating with our technology and software development teams and participating in the agile software development process.
  • Documenting our existing product development and helping our business to scale as we grow our team.
  • Developing and providing expertise on the pharmacy industry, the pain points, and the opportunities to create value.
  • Using that expertise to help drive product strategy and improve the lives of our end users.
In the first 90 days, you will:
  1. Learn how pharmaceutical pricing works in the Waltz Health Platform
  2. Support the team with strategic pricing analysis
  3. Manage the flow and transformation of pharmacy data
You will be successful at Waltz Health because you bring the following skills:
  • Proficient data querying, transformation, and analysis
  • Proficient with data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, etc.)
  • Market Research
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoints, Word)
  • Technical pharmacy pricing experience (Medispan and NCPDP data; MAC lists, etc.) -- Preferred not required
We'd love for you to have these qualifications:
  • Bachelors in quantitative fields
  • Masters (Bonus)
  • 1-3 years of experience wi on data analysis
  • Experience with drug pricing (Bonus)
  • Healthcare/Technology experience (Bonus)
