The Role: 

As a Data Annotator at Aisera,  you will play a vital role in generating accurate and consistent annotations to facilitate the training, benchmarking, and development of our NLP models. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and other cross-functional teams to contribute to the growth of our innovative AI products.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality annotations for a variety of data types, including text, audio, and visual data, adhering to established guidelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists and machine learning engineers to understand annotation requirements and contribute to the creation of effective training datasets.
• Assist in developing and refining annotation guidelines and processes to ensure consistency and accuracy in data labeling.
• Participate in regular annotation review meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and data quality objectives.
• Contribute to the identification and resolution of annotation challenges, providing valuable insights and suggesting improvements.
• Maintain detailed documentation of annotation processes, decisions, and challenges for future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in NLP and annotation methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of annotation efforts.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide updates on annotation progress.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of annotation experience
• 3+ years of experience in dealing with Taxonomies and Ontologies
• Expertise in all types of text annotation techniques
• Great reading comprehension and ability to make independent judgment with limited information
• Prior experience with IT Service Management, virtual agents, or NLP
• Technical expertise
• Linguistic Background
• Excellent verbal and written comprehension and communication skills with an eye for detail
• Great problem-solving skills and strong work ethic
• BS/MS degree (or currently pursuing) in Computer Science or other related fields

Compensation:

At Aisera, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. Our current base pay ranges for this role is:

$80,000 - $110,000

Base pay is ultimately determined based on your location, skills, expertise, and experience. This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and/or equity.
