Job SummaryDesign, develop, implement, and maintain data models, data warehousing and ETL solutions, and interface with business stakeholders and other data professionals to define and meet current and future business data needs.

Job Description

To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.

• Collaborate directly and effectively with data analysts, Business Intelligence analysts, business users and stakeholders to gather and fulfil business decision-making and strategic requirements
• Apply dimensional modeling methodology to architect data warehouse data models as a part of data integration solution development
• Design and build efficient, scalable, and reliable data warehousing and ETL solutions to support the rapidly growing data integration, reporting and analytics needs of the business
• Act as a business data steward and a business partner to deliver quality service and technology
• Work in a growth-focused, fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changing priorities
• Partner with peers to partake in code reviews and provide support for User Acceptance Testing
• Provide on-call support on a weekly rotation basis with other team members to support nightly ETL batch processes and maintain the data warehouse
• Contribute toward Enterprise Data Governance activities while coordinating with Enterprise Risk Management, Information Security and Compliance teams
• Adhere to the culture and core values of the organization

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Experience

• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in a non-ETL role OR five (5) years of experience in an ETL role is required in the following:
• Working with dimensionally modeled data, data marts and data warehouses
• Working with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, IDM DB2, Teradata, or other relational database management systems
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in an ETL role is required in the following:
• Working with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Informatica PowerCenter, Alteryx, IBM DataStage, Talend or other ETL tools

Some experience is preferred in the following:

• Working with web API extraction, PowerShell, JSON, XML, C#, Python or other similar languages

• Working for a Financial Institution

Education

• Four-year college degree, OR two (2) additional, combined years of experience in a progressive ETL position

Licenses, Certifications, Registrations

Microsoft certification in Power BI Data Analyst Associate or similar certifications or education preferred.
