Data Architect

Introduction
IBM is seeking a passionate detail-oriented Data Engineer with a strong understanding of data platform design skills of data integration (e.g. ETL). The engineer will play a major role in deploy and implement the data solutions based on IBM’s products and other integration capability. You will have the opportunity to work at a dynamic and fast-growing working group with an experienced and agile IT team to build robust and high performing applications and tackle interesting engineering challenges.

Your Role and Responsibilities
[General]

• Work closely with Solution Architect within the company to provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved.
• Assist in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team or customers.
• Setup and maintain the solution testing/evaluation environment.
• Work alongside project managers to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives.
• Document and monitor within the company for the product roadmap and features delivered to institute proposed updates in relation to customer experience.
• Working independently for the assigned tasks.

[Data architect]

• Design Implement and maintain the data solutions as PoC or project deliverables.
• Implement AI projects with proposed solutions as PoC or project deliverables.
• Understand the data governance methodology and fully utilize tools associated with conforming the principles and policies.
• Work with customers stakeholders and other team members to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
[General]

• 5+ years’ or proven experience in project development works.
• Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure.
• Extensive knowledge and experience working with various operating systems.
• Familiar with Kubernetes OpenShift or other containerized PaaS solutions is a plus.
• Professional work experience in analyzing issues and make troubleshooting.
• Ability to work with various departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.
• Written and spoken English skills.

[Data architect]

• Strong knowledge of data integration migration skills and tools.
• Hands-on experience in data platform data warehouse and data lake design and implementation.
• Familiar with database design documentation and coding.
• Up to date understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.
• Experience in design and implement data governance process and tools is a plus.
