This pivotal role lies within Data Engineering and Architecture, where you'll spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of comprehensive data solutions, enabling our organization to fully leverage the power of data. Your responsibilities will encompass close collaboration with diverse teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, fostering innovation and ensuring the smooth fusion of data and analytics throughout our ecosystem.

Traits we look for

• Design and develop the data platform to efficiently and cost effectively address various data needs across the business
• Minimum 5+ years of architecture experience
• 5+ years of experience with cloud data technologies such as; Snowflake, GCP, Temporal, Postgres, and ClickHouse
• Lead the transformation of our data utilization mindset and practices through proactive exploratory analytics, quantitative analysis, and advanced data mining techniques
• Define the vision, requirements, and lead development of the Enterprise Data Lake focusing on the business needs
• Inform and influence the overall Enterprise Data technology vision
• Develops conceptual, logical, and physical data models, and supports the development of data strategies by building roadmaps and creating processes to meet current and future needs
• Spearhead initiatives focused on optimizing the scalability, resilience, and reliability of our data architecture
• Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to make data easily accessible and understandable to them.
• Develop and enforce data engineering, security, data quality standards through automation.
• Be responsible for cloud cost and improving efficiency.
• Provides leadership and mentorship to data Engineering staff
