As a Data Architect at Veo, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data architecture solutions, specifically emphasizing our key customer data platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in data modeling and integration, with a documented history of implementing and optimizing, e.g., CDP solutions.

The position will require stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration with a forthcoming and team-oriented focus to meet business needs.

Here are some of the responsibilities this role contains:

Data Strategy Development:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT and BI teams to develop a data strategy aligned with organizational goals. This involves understanding business needs and translating them into data solutions

Data Modeling and Design:

• Develop and maintain robust data models, ensuring alignment with business requirements and data strategy

Data Integration:

• Create and implement strategies for seamless data integration from various sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy
• Utilize ETL processes and integration tools to streamline data flows across the organization

Customer and data intelligence platforms:

• Lead the design and implementation of select data platforms, ensuring it aligns with business goals and facilitates a unified and comprehensive view of customer data

Data Governance and Security:

• Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Implement and optimize security measures, including access controls, encryption, and auditing

Technology Evaluation:

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in data management
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that enhance our data architecture and management capabilities

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, BI, business stakeholders, and data analysts, to understand and address data needs
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively

Documentation and Training:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture, processes, and standards
• Provide training to staff on data-related technologies and best practices

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Architect with expertise in CDP, Segment, Salesforce, and related technologies
• Strong proficiency in data modeling and database design
• Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data governance
• In-depth knowledge of data security principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred
