Data Center Manager

IEX is looking for a Data Center Manager to join our Enterprise Infrastructure team, primarily responsible for maintaining the physical deployment of equipment and cables at our data centers in Northern New Jersey. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, as you'll be crafting reports and the administrator of our Data Center Inventory Management System.

About You:

• Self-starter with a real passion for learning new technologies
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically – not afraid to get into the weeds

What You'll Do:

• Primary administrator of our DCIM system 
• Organize, manipulate, and build reports from hardware and cabling data
• Maintain physical logistics of data center inventory and supplies
• Design rack layout, create rack elevation, and cable run sheets
• Responsible for the physical deployment of equipment and cables

You Are:

• 10+ years of prior data center experience
• Hands-on experience installing server and switching hardware
• Knowledge of standard network and server hardware
• Familiarity with standard methodologies around structured cabling and data center rack layout
• Experience in inventory management and asset tracking
• Excel proficiency
• Ability to lift up to 60lbs
• Willing to travel to multiple data center locations in Northern NJ and to our HQ in NYC
