About the Opportunity:
 
As a Data Director, Core product supporting OKX, you will be responsible for leading the team by leveraging data to optimize fiat product features for OKX. You will work directly with our product team to identify needs, suggest solutions, execute and communicate insights. The ideal candidate is someone who comes with leadership experience, collaborative, has strong communication and problem solving skills.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Build a strong data analyst team, cooperate closely with product teams to work on data analysis in multiple product areas such as payment, compliance, customer service and finance products, provide strategic analysis, business insights, and optimization proposals to continuously improve core metrics and performance.
  • Building BI dashboards/reports systems, optimizing and improving data analysis systems, including north star, core metrics, and user analysis system, which can support detailed customer behavior in specific scenarios.
  • Participate and deep dive into the business and work together with product managers to solve specific business problems, such as risk control alert system, model AB testing system, and risk prediction system, to drive the business to grow.
  • Work with product leaders to make the product strategy, define north star metrics. Disassemble and allocate the metrics to other product teams and track the performance constantly.
  • Coordinate with other parallel teams, like engineers and other related departments, to solve problems, like company's data Infra construction and resources issues.
 
What We Look For In You:
  • 5+ years in analytics and data science, 2+ years in team management.
  • Proactive mindset and good coordination skills across different departments to solve complicated problems.
  • Familiarity working with product analytics solutions and event based analytics.
  • Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with data modeling.
  • Experience with Python and relevant analytics/ML libraries
  • Ability to apply statistical analysis and data mining methods.
  • Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain innovations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to translate insights into clear and actionable plans for products.

Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $206,000 to $348,000.
The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
