Data Documentation Specialist

We are:
The Data Science group is comprised of Data Scientists and Business Analysts. We focus mainly on compliance, specifically Fair Lending and Anti Money Laundering, by unmasking the bad guys and solving problems, using SAS, Python and various machine learning models. We provide on-demand analysis, system optimization, craft unique models to address specific business needs, apps to support business decisions, and much more. Our group’s models develop dynamically and meet very high regulation standards and model governance.Â
Responsibilities:
- Be the one individual who can address all delivery and project related topics
- Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over multiple project lifecycles
- Create all relevant documentation related to data exploration, software implementation, from software configuration to business rule descriptions
- Work closely with Data Scientists and Business stakeholders on requirements and functional specifications to understand business priorities and translate to requirementsÂ
- Perform basic data analysis
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Documentation Specialist in a fast-moving business environment
- 2 years of experience working with Project Management tools
- 2 years of experience in writing technical documents
- Very good command of MS Word and Excel
- Ability to create meticulous reports according to guidelines
- Native English speaker
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic SQL coding skills
- Ability to explore and drive new ideas and technologies, think and learn independently.
- Quick thinker, fast learner and problem solver with ability to get things done, from start to end.
- Good team player, self-motivated and proactive at work.
It’s a bonus if you have:
- Experience with Jira and agile methodology
- Experience from the banking/finance industry
- Experience working under US banking regulations
Education:
A science/technical related degree
