Summary :
The Enterprise Data organization drives value for Hershey by providing high-quality, well governed data to the Enterprise for analytics and decision-making.
The Hershey Data & Technology team is looking for a Data Engineer to design, develop and support data models and reports using SAP Business Warehouse, SAP Native HANA Modeling and SAP Front End Tools. This role will work closely with business and enterprise data teams to understand project needs and requirements, deliver supportable and scalable enterprise data solutions and handle day to day operations of the data warehouse landscape.
Duties:

• Responsible for the design, development and support of SAP-based Enterprise Data Solutions including SAP BW (both BW on HANA and BW/4 HANA), HANA Native Modeling, Business Objects and SAP Analytics Cloud
• Translating business requirements and opportunities into a robust technical design
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore developers in the delivery and execution of BW reports and reports.
• Ability to drive consensus and resolve conflicts across multiple parties with conflicting views.
• Strategic thinker with holistic vison, specific focus on the identification for the automation of existing manual processes to drive key business performance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical topics with business management.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree with quantitative, STEM focus (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems - other technical degrees will be considered).

• 5+ years of professional experience related to data, analytics, and insights, including:

• 3+ years of experience with SAP BW on HANA or BW/4 HANA
• 2+ years of experience in front SAP Tools (Business Objects, SAP Analytics Cloud)
• Working experience with ETL, Performance Tuning and Optimization
• HANA Modeling, ABAP Programming and SQL Scripting experience is a must
• Experience working with data from various SAP Modules (Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Finance and other SAP modules)
• Experience with Relational databases (Azure SQL DB/DW/Synapse, Teradata, or Snowflake) is nice to have.
• Familiar with information management practices, system development lifecycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations and EA and ITIL frameworks.
