Job Description Summary:

PayPal, Inc. seeks Data Engineer 3 in Scottsdale, Arizona to develop and implement a consistent, project management framework and development processes to deliver high quality software, in rapid iterations, for business partners in multiple geographies. Design, develop and deploy scalable systems on Hadoop, Google Cloud Platform and SAP HANA Ecosystems. Build high-performance data pipelines at scale in a global complex matrix organization involving multiple reporting lines. Define, develop, integration, test, document, and support across multiple platforms. Write quality code and build secure, highly available systems, including production quality coding. Troubleshoot and debug software programs. Lead technical discussions, participate in code reviews, guide the team in engineering best practices. Telecommuting permitted - work can be performed from a commutable distance.

Job Description:

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or closely related field such as Software or Computer Engineering, plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

(1) Machine Learning Algorithms (Neural Networks, Regression, Gradient Boosted Trees, Random Forests, Forecasting algorithms)
