Data Engineer

Softeta is a computer software company that is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, You will work for a leading Scandinavian financial services group.

About the role:

Our client is setting up a reporting team, often required by law and regulatory demands. You will be helping establish integrations to the new data platform while also focusing on Next Generation Custody-specific data analytics and reporting needs.

Responsibilities:

• Modernize the platform by rebuilding the functionality we have on-premises into GCP;

• Utilize the data platform to build reports and analytics;
• Be a part of establishing data products and incorporating them into our reports and marketplace;
• Collaborating with architects, product owners, and other developers.

• Proficiency in any Cloud Platform Data management tools (plus is experience with GPC);
• Advanced programming skills in Python;
• Competence in SQL programming for data manipulation and querying;
• Experience with Tableau/Looker;
• Knowledge of Terraform - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool for managing cloud infrastructure;
• Understanding of data processes like ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data quality management;
• Fundamental understanding of CI/CD practices to enhance development workflows.

Salary range - from 3500 EUR to 5500 EUR before taxes.
