Data Engineer

Working closely with the Senior DQ&I Analyst, the DQ&I Analyst will assist on long-term projects, lead on short-term projects, and tackle ad-hoc analytical tasks to ensure that stakeholders are serviced to the high degree they expect. They will be very involved in the maintenance of our marketing feeds and will feed into the overarching project around database health and data quality.

What You'll Be Doing:

The DQ&I Analyst will have to immerse themselves in our data proposition to ensure a thorough understanding of not only our Oracle data warehouse but also the Azure platform. This will allow them to be an indispensable asset to the Senior Data Analyst in the delivery of the projects around database health and database quality. Via a thorough understanding of our data they will be well placed to ensure our marketing feeds operate as intended and that any requests that come in from across the Group are serviced to the desired standard

What We're Looking For:

•  A good understanding of TSQL/PLSQL, including creation of procedures and views 
•  An understanding of data use in an ecommerce environment is desirable
• Knowledge of Python is desirable 
• Knowledge of Google Analytics is desirable 
• Good stakeholder communication skills
