Data Engineer

About The Opportunity

Netrix Global is looking for a Data Engineer  for the Professional Services – Data Intelligence department. The Data Engineer will be responsible for identifying, creating, analyzing and preparing data required for modern BI and ML solutions. Candidates for this position must be customer-focused, embrace an entrepreneurial spirit, and be hands-on. This role will report to the Manager, Data Intelligence.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Identifying, creating, preparing data required for modern BI solutions
• Designing ETLs and ELTs for data transformations
• Designing and management of Datalakes architectures
• Working with Apache Hadoop projects (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Airflow, etc)
• Integrating and testing BI solutions
• Creating and documenting the tests to meet requirements
• Working with Bigdata Environments
• Managing Data Cloud services, data access, security and governance
• Managing monitoring and logs of applications and services 

What You Will Bring To The Table 

• Experience in Data Engineer role and tasks as ETL, Big Data, data ingest, data streaming
• Experience working in Cloud environments (AWS) 3 years at least
• Knowledge of Python, R or other data process tools
• Upper / Advanced English Level
• Experience using AWS Data Services (Amazon Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, Athena, Sagemaker, etc)
• Experience using Devops tools (Git, pipelines)
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum team
• Experience working with infrastructure as a code (Terraform, Cloudformation, etc.) 

Location 

• Argentina (any part of the country its great for us!) 
• Shift: 9 a.m to 6 p.m from Monday to Friday
