How will you make an impact in this role?

You will collect, process, and perform statistical analysis of data and translate the numbers into an easy-to-understand format. By identifying trends and making predictions about the future, you will help teams at Amex make decisions on how to improve the efficiency of their products. You will be responsible for regulating, normalizing, and calibrating data that can be used alone or with other numbers and use charts, graphs, tables, and graphics to explain what the data means across specific amounts of time or various groups.

• Support and partner with teams across the enterprise.• Support and contribute to data collection efforts, as needed.• Verify data quality to ensure accurate analysis and reporting.• Help identify the business data needed to produce the most useful insights and future analytics.• Utilize data to make actionable recommendations at all levels.• Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to the broader team.• Monitor data management processes to ensure data quality and consistency.• Monitor system performance, data integrity and usage metrics.• Contribute to data dictionary, standards, training, and ongoing updates

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in business, computer science, engineering, or information systems or equivalent experience.• Comfortable with statistics, datasets, and machine learning exercises.• Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.• Ability to assist with problem solving and debugging.• Understanding of computer hardware and common operating systems; technology product management; cloud technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL, and PowerShell• Understanding of Bash

Salary Range: $59,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
