What you’ll be doing: 

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into

visualization tools.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable and

efficient pipeline solutions.

• Identify, evaluate, and integrate new data sources to enhance the quality and depth of available data.

• Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the pipeline.

• Optimize and fine-tune data pipelines for improved performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.

• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide

appropriate solutions.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering, and actively contribute to the

improvement of data engineering processes and technologies within the organization.

• Document data pipeline architecture, processes, and workflows for future reference and knowledge sharing.

• Having in depth understanding of AWS or Azure offerings is a must.

• In-depth understanding for DevOps processes is a must.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a focus on building data pipelines.

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, NodeJS, JavaScript, Typescript, Java, or Scala.

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Proficiency in NoSQL is a big plus

• Experience with big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Apache Hadoop.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.

• Knowledge of data integration techniques, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data modelling.

• Experience with integration platforms like Microsoft SSIS or MuleSoft a plus.

• Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
