About the Role

Tekton Labs is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support a temporary, high-impact healthcare project. The primary goal of this engagement is to design and deliver interactive dashboards and reports (Version 1, or V1). This role emphasizes integrating core data sources, building ETL pipelines, and creating actionable insights to inform decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• The role includes assessing existing reporting infrastructure and refactoring legacy systems to optimize performance. 
• You will design schemas for healthcare workflows, centralize and clean session form data, and develop ETL processes for integrating patient data into reporting pipelines. 
• Deliverables include the first version (V1) of NIH reports and business performance reports, alongside an interactive BI dashboard using tools like Freshpaint, Tableau, or Power BI. 
• Additional tasks involve defining funnel metrics such as conversion and drop-off rates while establishing baseline metrics for future tracking.

Deliverables

• Expected outputs include production-ready ETL pipelines, dashboards and reports, and a data architecture roadmap with detailed documentation for future use.

Skills and Tools Required

• Candidates must have expertise in ETL processes, data integration, and a strong understanding of healthcare workflows and reporting requirements. 
• Proficiency in SQL and Python is required. 
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Freshpaint, Tableau, or Power BI.
