    Job Description

    We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Data Analytics division of Ignitis, where you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining our enterprise data platform. That includes integrating new sources into our data warehouse, developing our orchestration capabilities and developing a healthy data mart. We use a combination of proprietary as well as open source tools, so you would have exposure to a variety of tools. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

    Take YOUR part in #EnergySmart!

    You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

    • Collecting external requirements from domain stakeholders and internal requirements from the data team, and translating them into technical requirements;
    • Serving as a go-to expert for questions regarding our data platform;
    • Developing new data platform capabilities, such as new data sources or new data models or improved mart performance;
    • Maintaining the product lifecycle of new as well as currently deployed data pipelines.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree related to data analytics (e.g. Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics) or a closely related quantitative field;
    • 1–2 years of relevant work or research experience;
    • Strong experience using SQL and programming in Python;
    • Ability to understand business needs and communicate results to domain stakeholders;
    • Ability to use Airflow or other data orchestration tools, dbt.

    Additional Information

    • Take part in an unfolding energy transformation process to create a 100% green and secure energy ecosystem for both current and future generations;
    • Compensation corresponding to experience and competencies, and financial incentives dependent on achieved results;
    • A package of additional benefits to choose from: pension accumulation, health insurance, or another benefit from the selectable benefits list in the MELP application;
    • Additional paid days for health improvement, short-term illness, volunteering, and accumulated work experience;
    • Internal career opportunities;
    • Extensive learning and qualification enhancement programs;

    Join a growing and increasingly international team of energy smart people united by a common purpose. We all play our part in creating a 100% green and secure energy ecosystem for current and future generations.

    As we pursue our strategic goals to increase gender balance in Ignitis Group, we are indicating “f/m/d” next to job titles, meaning we welcome candidates of all genders – female, male or diverse.
    Ignitis Group is committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity and does not discriminate against race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or gender identity, age, disability or other personal traits unrelated to work obligations.
