Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer III to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures. You will work closely with analytics teams, data engineers to ensure the proper collection, transformation, and storage of data to meet business needs.  The candidate will have a strong foundation in data warehousing and data modeling, with a deep understanding of dbt and its best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex data transformations and aggregations using SQL and DBT's Jinja templating language
  • Develop and optimize data architecture to support analytics and business intelligence.
  • Develop tableau dashboards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across various platforms.
  • Build and maintain data warehouse systems and ensure data accessibility for internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest DBT and data engineering trends and technologies.
  • Work with both structured and unstructured data from a variety of sources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Jinja in dbt environment
  • Proficiency in Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Redshift, Snowflake) 
  • Strong understanding of database design, data warehousing.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
