About our Team Our knowledge graph is curated by a team of medical experts creating a flow of information into the graph. A main use case is supporting annotation and tagging of our documents, supported by a set of services that allow information to flow out of the graph. On top of these data pipelines, our documents flow from authoring, annotation, indexing, and retrieval. Our knowledge graph engineer is responsible for the pipelines for knowledge flow and for the parts of the content pipeline that depend on the graph for annotation and indexing.

We are a diverse group of Engineers who build and maintain platform services that support our range of products and the engineering teams that build them.

About the Role

An analytical minded engineer, who enjoy working out problems methodically and in depth, considering the wider context in which the problem exists

Responsibilities
  • Designing and develop data pipelines and ETL jobs based on functional/non-functional business requirements.
  • Producing code and pipelines that are efficient, repeatable, without defects, and adherent to best practices such as naming conventions, encapsulation.
  • Writing and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of data components.
  • Completing data engineering bug fixes and issues, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate.


Requirements
  • Experience with our tech stack or similar technologies: Python, SPARQL, GraphDB, Snowflake, Airflow, Jenkins, Kubernetes, AWS, Git
  • Thrive on working collaboratively and enjoy supporting, learning from, and sharing knowledge with a team of people from different backgrounds.
  • Experience in data management area with technical competencies demonstrated.
