Job Duties

Administer, test, and implement computer databases. Support Product and Technology Department by managing organizational data systems. Design, write, test, and debug database queries to extract, calculate, and manipulate information. Schedule and coordinate database maintenance activities. Monitor and improve Database and Data Warehouse performance and

develop procedures and ETLs. Assemble large, complex data sets to meet functional and non-functional business requirements. Build and maintain infrastructure required for ETL process (extraction, transformation, and data loading) from various data sources. Monitoring key product metrics and understanding root causes of metric changes. Assist operation and product

teams in building data sets and data-based recommendations. Automate reports and analysis. Author pipelines via SQL and python-based ETL framework.

Telecommuting is permitted 100%. Position reports to company HQ in Scottsdale, AZ.

Job Requirements

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and 2 years of experience in a related occupation.

Must include some experience in the following:

1. Relational (MySQL) and Non-Relational (MongoDB) Database.

2. Data Warehouse (RedShift and Azure DW).

3. ETL best practices and data engineering.

4. Python.

5. Performance tuning using execution plan and Cloud Watch.

6. Large scale data processing using Hadoop, Spark, and Airflow.
