Summary:

Our Data and Analytics team is seeking a full-time Data Engineer. This person will primarily focus on supporting finance and digital marketing stakeholders by building elegant, scalable data warehouses and evolving our data infrastructure to meet changing business needs. Your efforts will be critical in driving data-driven decision-making and enhancing our overall data infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize data models to support various business needs, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across the organization.
  • Design, build, and maintain a simple, effective, and scalable data warehouse infrastructure using Snowflake.
  • Implement and manage ELT processes with dbt to ensure reliable data pipelines.
  • Manage data integrations with external systems
  • Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with and learn from experienced team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure testing and validation mechanisms are in place so that data transformations are verified, complete, documented, and meet SLAs

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Data Engineering experience
  • Able to leverage abstraction to solve complex problems
  • Excellent SQL, Python, and data modeling skills
  • Experience with dbt and Snowflake
  • Experience contributing to scalable data systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience delivering results within set timelines.
  • Can work iteratively, defining requirements as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with dbt
  • Extensive experience with Snowflake
  • Experience working with finance and/or digital marketing data
  • Experience building and/or maintaining A/B Testing frameworks
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for managing data infrastructure.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Understanding of machine learning and data science concepts

The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $100,000 USD to $125,000 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
