Data Engineer (mid/senior)

You will:

• Be responsible for designing building and maintaining the data infrastructure necessary to provide actionable insights to various teams within our organization

• Work closely with a team of data analysts and stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into robust data pipelines and solutions.

• Liaise with our Data and Core teams to identify ways of improving the Data consumption for our projects and framework.

• Work through a variety of technical challenges that will require creativity and close collaboration across internal functions.

Required:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python SQL and Scala along with experience with data processing frameworks and tools such as Apache Spark Apache Airflow and Kafka .

• Solid understanding of database technologies ( relational databases NoSQL databases data lakes ) and experience with database design optimization and performance tuning.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex data requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions.

• Experience with version control systems like Git.

• Creativity and eagerness to learn new technologies.

• Being comfortable in planning leading and delivering complex data solutions to improve performance and to deliver improved alerts.

• Being a self-starter who is also comfortable working individually as well as part of a team.

• Having an inquisitive mindset with a strong eye for detail.

• Excellent communication skills able to explain data concepts to non-technical audiences.
