As a Data Engineer at Medisolv, you will be responsible for designing, testing, implementing and maintaining all aspects of Medisolv's cloud-based data integration platform. This platform's architecture allows extracting data from disparate sources into a single, comprehensive staging environment for use by Medisolv's suite of applications.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Assist in maintaining Medisolv's cloud-based data infrastructure (primarily Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Delta Lake, and Databricks)
  • Manage and maintain Medisolv's data engineering processes
  • Develop full ETL pipelines - from client source to the final form in Medisolv's cloud data platform
  • Develop data engineering systems and processes within Databricks
  • Provide technical services and documentation to help stakeholders understand, implement, validate, and troubleshoot the installation and operation of the data integration platform's architecture.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years experience working with cloud-based ETL processes and procedures
  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (or other RDBMS SQL technology)
  • 3+ years working within Microsoft Azure or AWS
  • 3+ years working with Microsoft Azure or AWS data technologies
  • 3+ years experience scripting Python
  • 3+ years experience deploying data solutions in a cloud environment
  • 2+ years experience with Databricks/Spark
  • 2+ years experience in use and management of source control systems, primarily Git
  • Ability to work as an independent component within a larger team
  • Ability to manage multiple project initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A willingness and ability to learn new technologies and work hands-on
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Electronic Health Record systems (Meditech, EPIC, Cerner, etc.)
  • Healthcare data and data standards (Standard code systems, quality reporting, etc.)
  • Migrating data into new data environments
