Data Entry Associate, Business Development

The Role

IEQ Capital is looking for a motivated professional to join the Business Development Team in our Foster City office. The Business Development Data Entry Associate plays a critical role in supporting the team by accurately maintaining data in CRM systems and supporting team members in data-related tasks. This role is essential in helping the team (1) keep accurate and organized data to report on new business activity as well as (2) conduct growth and research efforts. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Organize and maintain data in systems and platforms.
• Track key metrics for the team and advisors.
• Detect and rectify any inconsistencies or erroneous data.
• Identify solutions to drive efficiencies in manual processes.
• Work closely with and support team members in transferring and uploading data into systems.
• Regularly monitor deal activity/liquidity events across the United States to surface potential prospects.
• Identify trending companies and potentially qualified individuals associated with those companies for IEQ advisors to pursue.
• Build analytics to identify future high-value opportunities through research.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Candidate must thrive in and be able to keep up with a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• High-level of integrity and humility.
• Must have high attention to detail in all aspects of the role, work quickly and accurately.
• Must be able to think critically, effectively, anticipate needs and be a natural problem-solver.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be self-directed and able to work with individuals at all levels, including executive management.
• Experience owning projects & initiatives while delegating responsibilities as needed.
• Background in financial services/wealth management industry preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce preferred.

Compensation

The total compensation range for this role, inclusive of base salary and bonus, is $70,000 - $97,500 depending on skills and experience.
