Data Entry Specialist

The Purpose of Your Role

We have an opportunity for you to join our team as a Data Entry Specialist. This is an administrative role that applies various clerical duties to validate the freight bills our clients submit. This position starts at $15.50/hour.

The first 6 months of training will be onsite at our office in downtown Fort Worth. The role will transition to a hybrid arrangement after training. For this reason, candidates should be local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Our Data Entry Specialists are the first line of defense against paperwork errors that could potentially put our clients at risk. Apex works to streamline processes and remove obstacles so that our auditors can do their jobs quickly and efficiently.

Some of our most successful can sort through a high-volume number of invoices and use their high attention to detail to spot discrepancies that could prevent a delay in payment. There are ample opportunities for advancement in this role - either in the department, or in other departments at Apex.

What You'll Be Doing

• Audit freight invoices for errors and flag issues to appropriate department for resolution.
• Respond to information requests and work with clients and internal departments to resolve freight bill issues.
• Flag potentially fraudulent paperwork for further investigation.

Required Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a professional or office setting.

Preferred Experience

• 10-key and alphanumeric data entry.
• Previous experience with clerical, administrative, or data entry responsibilities.
