Role Summary
Responsible for performing data entry work using company assigned computer and appropriate software; entering, updating, researching, verifying and/or retrieving data into/from various systems; and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of information recorded. Input data into the system while following standard operating procedures and customer specific instructions for processing. Verifying negotiability of checks through customer specific instructions for processing. Analyze all transactions to ensure payments are properly processed.
Duties and responsibilities
- Meet or exceed established production goals and client deadlines spanning all processing sites.
- Cross train on various Checkalt platforms and data entry and other operational functions
- Monitor multiple queues and ensure customer data entry requirements are met
Essential Functions
- Ability to perform unsupervised given assigned responsibilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends and OT as needed
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications
- Ability to lift to lift mail trays (up to 35 pounds) as needed

Required knowledge, skills, and experiences
- 2+ years of relevant experience working in a data entry environment
- Basic level of computer skills and office applications (Teams, Outlook, Word)

- Ability to clearly convey complex technical terms to internal teammates
- Track record of working to deadlines, with accountability for independent workload
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, collaborative, team environment
- Time management and problem-solving skills
- Attention to details
- Effective and articulate communication, verbally and in writing
Preferred skills and experiences
- Banking or lockbox industry experience
- Above average computer abilities
- Time management, multitasking, and effective prioritization in fast paced environment
