About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Insights Manager who will play a crucial role in spearheading our new data-driven thought leadership content series. As a Data Insights Manager, this role has two main focal points: the general analysis piece of our Demandbase data which will drive insights to then inform the content series. Your expertise in tools such as Tableau will be essential in analyzing complex data sets and transforming them into impactful visualizations and stories. Beyond technical skills, we value your ability to tell a story through data, effectively communicating insights to various teams, external prospects, customers and executives. You will thrive in this role if you enjoy uncovering insights to inform stories and generate demand for our products with a unique perspective. Your passion for data and relentless pursuit of storytelling will empower our organization to help inform data-driven stories with confidence. This role is a mix of creating data processes, data storytelling, and project management, so an ability to move between strategic and tactical will be paramount to your success. 

A sense of urgency and strong ability to take initiative will aid you in your success as you navigate the waters to meet project deadlines. The base compensation range for this role is: $121,000 - $150,000 which does not include bonus/variable pay.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working directly with internal stakeholders: Product Marketing, Product, Data Engineering, and Post Sales to understand Demandbase data and generate market analysis and insights.
  • Provide a feedback loop to Post Sales on compelling ways to extract insights from Demandbase data.
  • Provide a feedback loop to Product on enhancements that would support data analysis and modeling efficiency and efficacy
  • Distilling complex technical analyses to non-technical audiences to generate content

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in a role that incorporates story-telling and data
  • 4+ years of data science/business intelligence/analytics experience
  • Mastered the ability to design and deploy rich Graphic visualizations with Drill Down and Drop down menu option and Parameters using Tableau
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational database modeling fundamentals
  • Able to distill complex technical problems into simple business language.
  • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience designing technical business documentation (ie. data glossary) and configuring descriptive analytics and predictive modeling solutions
  • Data analysis expertise (MDM, Predictive, Sales and Marketing data specialist, etc.) with the understanding of core Data Management concepts of data quality, data enrichment and data governance
  • A quick learner with technical acumen and the desire to become an expert in Demandbase data
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and project manage individual workstreams
