Data Insights Senior Associate

Job Summary:  

As Ruggable's Data Insights Senior Associate for our Analytics team, you will play a critical role in developing performance visibility and enabling change management throughout the company. As a cross-functional stakeholder, you will provide support outside of Finance by building and managing reports to inform organizational health. More specifically, offering our People, Marketing, and Product teams with actionable insights to monitor and forecast results.

What You’ll Do:

• Own end-to-end delivery of actionable insights with scoping, data collection, data analysis, and presentation to senior leadership
• Create and maintain automated dashboards to enable stakeholders to monitor and understand performance, leveraging Google Sheets, Looker, Paylocity,  SQL, etc. 
• Develop strong cross-functional relationships to ensure performance results are top of mind and knowledge gaps are bridged by extending financial literacy
• Generate ad hoc insights to ensure that data-driven decision-making gets supported at all levels of the organization
• Develop tools to inform executive leadership’s compensation and hiring strategy
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of our analytical capabilities (e.g. helping  understand new sources of data or recommending new tools/platforms)

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:

• Proven track record of turning raw data into meaningful analysis, presenting to business stakeholders, and driving value for the business
• Excellent written and verbal communication with impeccable attention to detail
• Advanced knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
• Hard-working team player motivated to identify challenges and implement solutions
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working in an analytics role within an organization (ideally a high-growth startup) or on data-heavy projects in management consulting or investment banking
• Local to the LA area to be onsite in a hybrid capacity 

Preferred:

• Competency with data visualization or business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
• Intermediate experience with: HRIS software's, SQL, Python, and Alteryx
• Robust financial acumen and experience with manufacturing organizations
• Excitement for start-ups and building from the ground up

Compensation:

• $95,000 - $100,000 per year base salary
• An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
• Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
