The Data Integration Analyst analyzes, designs, builds and supports backend data processing components and integrations.

The Data Integration Analyst will:

• Design, build, document and support iHeartMedia new and existing data processing orchestrations and integrations.
  • Performs analysis of integrations, data models and data processing data relationships and flow in support of software design and production incidents.
  • Ensure that any new software integration into the organization systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, data privacy, data warehousing, and other specifications
  • Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when designing and building solutions.
  • Decompose / break down solutions into manageable tasks and ensure transparency and visibility of progress
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locate and define new process and technology improvement opportunities.
• Be a thought leader in the area of data processing and integrations
  • Continually seek ways to optimize and improve all aspects of our integration and data solutions.
  • Keep job knowledge up to date by studying new tools, technologies and techniques; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal and professional networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Provides 24/7 on-call rotational support of applications support to users including issue resolution. Accurately repairs and documents changes to applications as assigned.

Requirements:

• Education
  • B.S. in a Math and analytical based subject (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science; Management Information Systems; Finance and Economics; Data Science)

• General Competency in technology and software development and support
  • Knowledge in engineering fault tolerant, high performance, critical business applications
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
  • Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
  • Working technical experience with relational database servers (admin, tuning, relational data design)
  • Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
• Specific Skills and Experience
  • Strong understanding and experience using relational databases (design, query, common admin functions). MySQL experience preferred, SQL server, Oracle, others accepted.
  • Working knowledge AWS services capabilities and a strong interest in using them (excluding EC2). Demonstrated experience preferred using at least two services from this list (Lambda, DynamoDb, DocumentDb, Elastic Search, Redshift, Athena, Step Functions, Glue)
  • Experienced in coding or scripting especially for data processing purposes (preference for: Python but others acceptable)
  • Experience building and tuning applications that use non-relational datastores us a plus: columnar, document, key-value (ex: DocDb, DynamoDb, Redshift)
  • Experience building and supporting corporate back office of financial systems is a plus
  • Experience interfacing / integrating with SaaS systems is desired especially Workday, Netsuite or SalesForce.
