Job Description

To reinforce the Synechron Switzerland team, we are looking for a System Engineer with experience in AS400 and iSeries. Our mission is for one of our clients, a Private Bank in Geneva.

Your responsibilities:

• Analysis of static data from the core AS400 system;
• Preparation of SQL queries;
• Creation and maintenance of TALEND programs to execute SQL queries and inject them into Temenos;
• Creation of Power BI processes to ensure the proper integration of the previous TALEND programs;
• Maintenance and update of I Series systems;
• Monitoring of operations and problem resolution.

Qualifications

Profile and skills:

• You justify a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field;
• You possess minimum 3 years of experience as a System Engineer Engineer;
• You are proficient in working with IBM's AS400/iSeries midrange computer systems for business applications;
• You possess expertise in SQL for querying and managing database systems;
• You are skilled in using TALEND for data integration and ETL processes;
• You are familiar with integrating SQL queries into the Temenos T24 banking software;
• You can work independently and as part of a team;
• You speak English and French;
• You are a Swiss resident.
