Data Integration Architect

Come help build and make our product life-cycles more efficient and effective through the design, development, delivery, and support of our products and solutions and their use of cloud technologies. You’ll have the opportunity to partner with our other heads of Technology to provide guidance, gather requirements, and ensure that the highest level of service is delivered to meet our objectives and deliver world class products & solutions for our customers most complex business problems.

A Day in the Life

• Leads planning, design, development, delivery, and support of RA’s cloud-based platform products and architectures 
• Designs and implements necessary analytics infrastructure on technically complex projects, focusing on developing solutions to data modeling and/or analytics technology needs 
• Actively moves a significant piece of early engagement with prospects and customers by collecting, cleaning, manipulating, formatting, and transforming data to fit the interface of our engines 
• Tests and confirms solution data meets the desired analytical standards as well as consistent delivery to customers 
• Collaborates with cross‐functional peers, both internally and externally, to drive integration solutions from design to delivery. 

Who You Are

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field and 6+ years of relevant technical experience or a bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant technical experience
• 5+ years in a technical/team lead or Architect role 
• Strong CS fundamentals and fluent in several programming languages, including Python 
• Experience working with and a strong fundamental understanding of relational databases; PostgreSQL preferred 
• 6+ years of strong analytical and data modeling skills, a deep understanding of database technology and data use within analytic platforms 
• Good understanding of ETL tools and REST APIs for creating and managing data integration jobs 
• Experience and administrative experience with Linux/Unix systems 
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills 
• Ability to structure and analyze large data sets 
• Experience with big data platforms (AWS, Athena, Hadoop, etc.) 
• Prior experience with direct customer interaction in a SaaS-based environment preferred 
• Willingness to travel
