As a data labeling specialist, you will work on the development of our self-driving technology at Plus. You will play a crucial role in the improvement of our autonomous driving systems by ensuring high-quality and accurately labeled data in our algorithms. You will label images & objects that contribute to our deep learning network. In this role you will work with in-house tools to label images coming directly from our vehicles. Your attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets will directly contribute to the advancement of our cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities:

• Use data annotation tools for different types of data annotation work.
• Quality check annotation work from other labeling specialists.
• Interact with engineering teams to help improve annotation guidelines.
• Interact with team members to help us improve on the design of efficient annotation tools.
• Acceptance test and issue feedback for new features of annotation tools.
• Manage data annotation project progress to ensure timely delivery of projects and meet quality standards, which may include coordination with external vendors and internal engineering teams.

Qualifications:

• B.S. or B.A. in a relevant field required (e.g. business, engineering, etc.)
• Previous experience in data annotation
• Ability to learn quickly and be able to prioritize assignments
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Previous work experience at a tech startup
• Reliable, have good initiative, committed and quality focusedDetail-oriented and patient
• Passionate and curious about technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills utilizing keyboard/mouse
• Available for on-site work schedule
• Must have a valid driver's license & knowledge of the roads

Salary Range:

• $30 - $40 an hour

Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.

This is an contracting opportunity paid on an hourly basis on 1099 and comes with the benefit of - catered free lunch, unlimited snacks and beverages only.
