Data Lake Engineer

What will you do?

• Hands on build of enterprise Data Lake / Data Warehouse / Analytics solution that serves both external product and internal reporting & analytics needs. 

• Data modelling and creation of ERDs (entity relationship diagrams)
• Build ETLs based on requirements from data analysts
• Ingest new data sources into the enterprise data lake as required

• Collaborate with business stakeholders including product teams, data scientists, and internal functions (sales, marketing, support, finance, etc.) to gather and align on business requirements.

• Develop mitigation strategies and solutions to gaps that are identified.

• Work with data sets in the hundreds of petabytes scale.

What skills & knowledge should you bring?

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, and Analytics.

• Hands on AWS experience.

• Hands-on experience with Amazon EMR, Amazon S3, Presto, Glue, Lambda, Apache Spark, Python, Amazon RDS, Hive, Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Elastic Search, Apache Ranger, SQL, and other leading edge big data and BI technologies.

• Hands-on experience with Tableau (must have) and SiSense (nice to have).
• Big data experience working with data sets in the hundred of petabytes scale. 

• Strong communication and change management skills 
• Robust problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting skills
