Data Manager

Job Description

As a Data Manager at our client in the Banking sector, you will have the following responsabilities: 

1. Drive the adoption of data governance within the bank and ensure operational management's accountability for data governance and quality tasks, while communicating global data governance principles and activating operational managers as needed.

2. Promote regulatory compliance by implementing required data models and operating structures.

3. Proactively focus on ensuring data quality and contribute to data usage awareness through Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Hub.

4. Identify and initiate data use cases to improve efficiency, suggest and support initiatives to innovate the bank, and support data analytics and AI initiatives by raising awareness at high levels.

5. Inform Executive Committee members about data transformation progress, improve interdepartmental collaboration on data topics, and act as public ambassadors for data transformation.

6. Document, improve accessibility, ensure quality, promote usage, and protect data within their perimeter; define controls, indicators, and remediation actions for data quality, integrity, and protection, and ensure effective use of referential data and communicate quality indicators.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevent experience;
• Proficiency in data management tools;
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to data in the banking industry;
• Fluency in English And French/ Dutch.
