Job Description

About us:

Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others.

What You’ll Be Doing:

We are looking for a Data Analytics Manager to join us in the Insurance Operations Data Analyst team at Grow Therapy. You’ll be part of a remote-friendly team of 5-7reporting directly to the Director of Data Analytics and Special Projects. You will lead a team of 4-5 analysts as well. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop data-driven business insights and work with cross-functional partners to find opportunities and recommend prioritization of product, growth, and optimization initiatives
  • You have advanced SQL expertise (Python is a plus)
  • You are a wizard at building business critical dashboards/data visualizations (ideally within Looker, with strong LookML expertise)
  • You have experience managing analytics projects leveraging sprint planning, SOWs, and different tools
  • You have a knack for detail and can navigate your way through networks of SQL tables and data fields with ease
  • You have developed statistical models including, but not limited to, random forest regression, clustering analyses, and forecasting
  • Refine ambiguous questions and generate new hypotheses about the product and business through a deep understanding of the data, our customers, and our business

Salary range: $107,000 - $170,000

You’ll Be a Good Fit If:

  • Bachelors in data science, statistics and/or math
  • Have 5-7 years of experience in data analytics/science or business intelligence with 2-4 years of managerial experience
  • Managed a team of 3+ data analyst professionals, ideally with examples of promotions
  • Have developed statistical models including, but not limited to, random forest regression, clustering analyses, and forecasting
  • Experience in healthcare and/or tech is a plus (but not required)

If you don’t meet every single requirement, but are still interested in the job, please apply. Nobody checks every box, and Grow believes the perfect candidate is more than just a resume.
