JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Market Executive (DME) is non-commissioned professional responsible for developing and supporting the Companies wireless data product portfolio into a defined market. The candidate will be responsible for both technical support, acquisition, and retention of subscriber accounts in their territory. This position will work closely with the Director Sales & Marketing, Market Sales Executives, Market Area Sales Managers, Public Sector Account Managers, Public Sector Sales Executives, and other departments like, Engineering, Information Solutions and Customer Solutions Teams. The DME will present the suite of products and services in the Southern Linc Wireless data portfolio to all channels of distribution and customers. Training will be a key component in keeping our customers and sales channels up to speed on our current offerings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills)

  • Experience in developing & supporting fixed & mobile data products and services.
  • Technical support experience for data products and services
  • Prior experience in standard modem communication
  • Experience in supporting Local and State government and/or utility & large commercial sales
  • Experience in training
  • Four-year college degree preferred or 5 years' experience
  • Proficient using standard Microsoft Office Products
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills are required
  • LTE Wireless communications knowledge
  • Public Speaking experience
  • Daily travel required 50% of time and some overnight travel
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical support & selling all data products in the Southern Linc portfolio
  • Supporting Southern Linc Sales Team's with use case development, sales calls, data solution training for fixed and mobile products and services, and data demos
  • Supporting the indirect channel of distribution for data sales
  • Maintaining an active sales forecast utilizing reporting tools
  • maintain technical relationships with Equipment manufacturers and application solution providers.
  • Manage an active relationship with engineering & Information Systems
  • Provide input to design, testing, and deployment of products and services
  • Assist in the installation and support of data products
  • Conduct ongoing support training when appropriate
  • Support the data services of all new devices
  • Participate as an active member of the Steering Committee
  • Support installations, configurations, and setup for all data solutions when needed
  • Assist the Customer Solution Center with trouble shooting data sales
  • Travel throughout assigned territory as required
