Job Description

Data Migration SME
Remote

• Manages lot of coordination with Novartis Biomedical Research (BR).function line SMEs/resources, acquired company SMEs/stakeholders, seller resources (in case of Business Development & Licensing (BD&L) deals), etc.; strong in soft/people skills
• Responsible for leading end-to-end data migration process – getting data from the source systems into Novartis staging, mapping the data, migrating to Novartis target systems based on dispositions, etc.
• Responsible for coordinating/owning data migration projects across multiple deals simultaneously
• Support BR business line functions and guide/hand hold them during data mapping activities
• Own/author validation report summarizing the health of the migration (Note – He/she will not be doing technical migration per se since Novartis has dedicated teams (system/application-specific for e.g., SharePoint migration, P-line migration, Rhonda migration, etc.)
• Work closely with data owners and support UAT efforts to test migration
• Work closely with Novartis technical data migration teams
