Role: Data Modeler

Duration: 5 Months (Contract)

Location: Beaverton, OR (On-Site)

Must Have:

• Advanced SQL - Highly Proficient
• Supporting analytics team, meeting with stakeholders and helping fill in gaps
• Discovery and documentation

  Can bring perspective.

Not looking for a pure data analyst, but someone who can help with creative problem solving

Nice To Haves:

• AWS, or other database management systems
• Data Bricks

Description:

• Nature of the work is focused in designing and creating robust data models that enhance the organization's ability to manage and derive valuable insights from complex datasets.

Responsibilities include Data Modeling:

• Develop comprehensive data models that define how data is structured, stored, and utilized across various systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data models.

Database Design:

• Work closely with database administrators and developers to implement and optimize database structures.
• Ensure that data models align with organizational goals and support efficient data retrieval and management.

Data Integrity:

• Uphold the integrity of data through meticulous design and validation of data models.
• Implement and enforce data governance policies to maintain accuracy and consistency.

Collaboration:

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and system architects, to align data models with application requirements.
• Act as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain detailed documentation of data models, including entity-relationship diagrams and data flow diagrams.
• Ensure documentation is accessible and comprehensible to relevant stakeholders.
