Data Operations Manager

As a Data Operations Manager on a new product team at Boston Dynamics, you'll play a critical role in establishing robust data assets which power AI-driven robotics. You'll build and run efficient, robust processes for machine learning annotation, robot teleoperation, and synthetic asset pipelines. Day-to-Day Activities will include:

• Oversee contractors and internal employees responsible for ML annotation tasks, robot teleoperation, and building data assets.
• Establish clear documentation for onboarding and training teams involved in data-related processes.
• Develop and track KPIs for data quality, efficiency, and failure causes.
• Interface directly with ML researchers and engineers to understand data requirements
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the data pipeline, and work with Engineering and IT to develop improved solutions.
• Track and manage the budget for the overall team.

Desired Experience:

• Proven experience in data operations or a closely related field.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and annotation techniques.
• Excellent organizational and process optimization skills.
• Strong IT aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to manage both contractors and internal team members effectively.
