Job Title: DataOps Lead (remote)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DataOps Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing and implementing efficient data operations processes. As a DataOps Architect you will be responsible for developing strategies frameworks and technologies that facilitate detailed data integration automation and teamwork across our organizations data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

DataOps Strategy: Develop and refine the DataOps strategy encompassing standard processes methodologies and tools for leading data pipelines data quality and data lifecycle management.

Architecture Design: Design scalable and robust data architecture that supports data ingestion processing transformation and delivery while ensuring security compliance and performance.

Pipeline Automation: Build and optimize data pipelines using modern ETL/ELT technologies to ensure smooth data flow across various sources data warehouses and analytics platforms.

Collaboration: Collaborate with multi-functional teams including data engineers data scientists and business analysts to define data requirements create data models and establish data governance practices.

Continuous Integration and Deployment: Implement CI/CD practices for data pipelines enabling automated testing deployment and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Monitoring and Maintenance: Develop monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively determine and resolve issues related to data quality pipeline failures and performance bottlenecks.

Data Security and Compliance: Establish data security protocols access controls and privacy measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Technology Evaluation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and tools in the DataOps space evaluating their potential impact and suitability for integration

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[140,000 - 155,000 USD] depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
