Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Supply Chain Data Platform Architect you will work with clients to design develop and implement data platforms that support their supply chain operations. You will use your expertise in data architecture data integration and data governance to help clients create scalable secure and reliable data platforms that enable real-time insights and decision-making. This is a consulting role and you will work with clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with clients to understand their supply chain analytics requirements and develop data platforms that meet their needs.
• Review supply chain analytics use cases and collaborate with cross domain functional and data teams to build optimized and industry aligned data models
• Design and develop data platforms including data warehousing data lakes and data integration platforms.
• Build a robust end to end data architecture embedded with a comprehensive data quality framework integrated with enterprise data governance principles
• Work with clients to develop data models including entity-relationship diagrams data dictionaries and data quality rules.
• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy completeness and security.
• Design and implement data integration solutions including data mapping data transformation and data quality control.
• Design and implement data governance framework for ongoing management of mater data data products and any other processed data for analytical use cases.
• Review and lead efficiency of the master and transactional data streaming from ERPs Inventory Systems Forecasting and planning systems supply chain delivery and execution custom apps and MES systems to build data models for scalability.
• Work with clients to develop business intelligence reports and data visualizations to provide insights into supply chain performance and trends.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop predictive models and analytics solutions to optimize supply chain operations.
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including data architecture diagrams data flow diagrams and technical specifications.
• Influence the enhancement and evolution of the data & analytics platform while onboarding a range of use cases across supply chain domains
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data platforms and analytics.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
• Problem-solving capability with demonstrated ability to translate business needs to data –driven solutions
• 10+ years of experience in data modeling data architecture data integration data quality and data governance in supply chain domain
• Strong understanding of data platforms including data warehousing data lake house and data integration platforms.
• Good understanding of data platform technologies and tools and the expertise in estimating the infrastructure sizing for optimal performance
• Good understanding of underlying data models in ERP systems and data extraction mechanisms.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java Python or C++.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or QlikView.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical aptitude while able to maintain a broader perspective identifies and evaluates opportunities to enhance the business through optimal solutions
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to manage numerous competing priorities in a complex and fast-paced environment
• Capable of strong individual contribution and influence across non-direct reporting teams
• Certification in data architecture data governance or a related field is a plus.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Master’s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field.
• Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
• Experience with data security and compliance regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.
• Certification in supply chain management or a related field.
