Data Privacy Technologist (Remote/Hybrid)

Role Summary:

The Data Privacy Technologist will play a key role in ensuring that our products and services are compliant with emerging law and regulatory guidance. The Data Privacy Technologist will be a bridge between our data privacy strategy and the teams that create leading healthcare products.

Responsibilities:

• Work with our product teams to ensure that our products and services are designed to support data privacy requirements
• Participate in R&D efforts around new technologies and approaches that can be leveraged to meet our data privacy goals
• Be seen as a subject matter expert regarding the application of technology to our data privacy goals
• Produce thought leadership material in the forms of blogs, whitepapers, or speaking engagements to evangelize our technical approaches to data privacy
• Work within a small team of data privacy specialists to achieve the goals of the Commercial Data Privacy Office
• Work with members of the corporate Privacy, Legal, and Governance teams to ensure that the technical execution of data privacy goals within the Digital Engagement business align with our corporate approach and systems.

Essential Functions:

• Be a member of product teams to ensure that our products and related service meet our expectations for data privacy
• Provide technical support to processes such as data matches, tokenization, and risk of re-identification studies
• Meet or respond to clients who have questions relating to our technical compliance to data privacy mandates
• Monitor and report on changes in the technology landscape that might affect the Digital Enablement business
• Liaison with the corporate Data Privacy, Legal, and Governance teams to ensure technical coordination
• Contribute to R&D is the area of privacy enhancing technologies
• Design and execute thought leadership in the area of technical approaches to data privacy compliance

Qualifications:

• Software development, software engineering, or software architecture experience is required. Experience with very large data sets is preferred
• Experience working on product teams is required
• Knowledge of the technical systems that drive digital marketing, especially digital advertising, is a plus
• Experience with privacy enhancing technologies such as clean rooms, tokenization, encryption, differential privacy, etc. is a plus
• Demonstrated experience in the creation of though leadership material (blogs, whitepapers, public speaking) is a plus
• Experience with U.S. data privacy laws and regulations is a plus, but not required

Colorado/California/Washington state Pay Transparency : The salary range for this role is $146,400 - $197,900.The actual salary will vary based on factors like candidate qualifications and competencies. Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus, sales incentives and/or stock. Benefits may include healthcare, retirement, paid time off, and more.
