Location:  Cincinnati, OH

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in Cincinnati office (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) / 2 days remote option (Wednesday & Friday).

Travel Requirements: 10-15% overnight travel (via airline) may be required

Job Summary

The PatientPoint Data and Analytics team is in an exciting season of building and growing its offerings for internal business partners and external clients. We are actively looking to add a Data Product Analyst to our already engaged and committed team.

What You’ll Do

  • Generate datasets, documentation, and responses to support PatientPoint’s audit teams and partners.
  • Work with product managers, technology agile teams, and business partners to both understand and document often complex dataset & visual requirements.
  • Lead efforts in responding to data questions submitted by technology teams and business partners, including research, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Provide quality assurance of imported, transformed, and calculated data.
  • Collaborate with Data Product Managers to develop and present training materials for new or featured-added datasets and visuals.
  • Fulfill one-time or irregular data extracts, data processes, or visual output as needed.
  • Occasionally create dashboard visualization designs, test directly with end-users, and iterate the solution based on feedback to better design data-driven solutions to business problems.
  • Ensure metrics used to track the business are consistent and the most relevant, and lead efforts to scale best practices across teams as appropriate.
  • Participate in data governance standards and processes, often comprised of a guild between technology and business partner comprising product managers, data modelers and data stewards.
  • Work closely with PatientPoint product managers and business partners to develop and promote content including reports, briefs, statues, and visual data.
  • Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations.

What We Need

  • 2+ years professional experience relevant experience in business intelligence, creating dashboards, extracting data, and/or consulting.
  • Proficiency writing SQL queries and other tools to extract data
  • Proficiency creating reporting output through both data extraction and visual tools (Tableau and/or Power BI preferred)
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development and/or Project Management Life Cycle in an agile based environment 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or similar course of study
  • Ability to understand and read Python and other scripting languages.
  • Experience in using your skills to bridge the gap between data science and business management
  • Ideal candidate will have come from a rapid development environment, publishing numerous dashboards, and managing multiple competing priorities and assignments.  
  • Understanding of healthcare data
