Mintel Comperemedia is the premier source of direct marketing competitive intelligence in the US & Canada. We monitor direct mail and email advertising and provide insight into acquisition and loyalty strategies, giving clients the intelligence they need to compete more effectively.
We are looking for a Data Quality Analyst to join the team and maintain the integrity of our structured data.
This role is based in Chicago and requires the individual to work a hybrid schedule of 2 days in-office and 3 days remote weekly.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Proactively investigate potential data quality issues, provide solutions and implement solutions to improve quality
- Monitor the quality of data received from vendors and deliver the appropriate feedback to the vendor as necessary
- Manage the data quality feedback loop so that all issues are corrected at the source in a timely manner and all stakeholders are aware of any issues
- Analyze issues and provide the vendors with feedback for all issues
- Ensure that all aspects of the data correction are occurring and data quality is improving
- Complete various audits and analyze findings across multiple data sets
- Work with the QC team to complete audits of the various Comperemedia sectors, analyze findings and identify next steps for improvement
- Monitor Quality Control ticketing queues by raising data quality tickets, adding appropriate information to open tickets, and resolving any methodology questions addressed in tickets
- Work with the Product Development team and the QA manager to roll out new information to the vendors and the Mintel quality control team
- Effectively document all data changes and updates and train various teams on any quality issues or discrepancies that arise
