As a Data Quality Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all internal product data across multiple systems. Your responsibilities will involve maintaining and updating internal databases and systems in response to changes, as well as conducting regular quality checks on product details pages across various online marketplaces, with a primary focus on platforms like Amazon. Your meticulous attention to detail, proactive approach, and effective communication skills will be essential in upholding data quality standards and optimizing the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Update of Internal Systems:

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of internal product data by maintaining and updating multiple systems and databases.
  • Update product information, including attributes, pricing, and availability, in response to changes or updates from internal teams or external sources.

Quality Checks on Marketplace Details Pages:

  • Conduct regular quality checks on product details pages on Amazon and other online marketplaces to confirm the accuracy of product information, images, and descriptions.
  • Identify and address inaccuracies, discrepancies, or missing information promptly and effectively.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Work closely with internal teams, to gather tasks and requirements related to data updates and quality checks.
  • Communicate timelines, priorities, and expectations with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of tasks.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Provide detailed documentation of data updates, quality check results, and any inaccuracies or discrepancies found during the process.
  • Generate reports to track data quality metrics, identify trends, and propose corrective actions or process improvements as needed.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data quality processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and standards for maintaining accurate product data.
