What are you going to do?

Occupy a unique position in the market where you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining the data governance framework within the People and Places organization.

Execute data quality standards and implement data validation rules.

Conduct regular data quality assessments and generate reports on data quality issues. Collaborate with data owners and stewards to resolve data quality problems.

Ensure adherence to data privacy and security policies (e.g. GDPR CCPA).

Implement and maintain data classification standards and assist in establishing and enforcing data access controls.

Document and maintain comprehensive data lineage.

Develop and manage metadata standards for data elements and datasets.

Create and maintain data dictionaries and catalogs.
-
Support the implementation of data governance workflows (e.g. data request and approval issue management).

Assist in developing and maintaining the business glossary and contribute to data onboarding and offboarding processes.

Help establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for data governance.

Generate regular reports on data governance effectiveness and participate in data governance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.

Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
