As a Data Registry Coordinator NE, you will identify patients for inclusion in Data Registries. Collects, validates and submits reliable clinical data to the Data Registries while analyzing the data and reports to identify opportunities for improvement.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies patients for inclusion in Data Registries through the application of strict inclusion/exclusion criteria and protocols.
  • Collects and validates data for the program using the applicable criteria and definitions established by the registry.
  • Establishes and maintains adequate work flow for data collection.
  • Ensures the accurate and timely submission of data into the program's website and assuring the transmission of completed data according to the program's targets and deadlines.
  • Analyzes the data and reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborates with clinical departments/units on performance improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare required or graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Certifications:

  • Current valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license may be required for some positions.

Complexity of Work:

  • Familiarity with medical record documentation and mainframe systems for patient information.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum five years related experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
